2. Overview
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, and how data is used when you use CuseTheJuice, including paywalled x402 APIs, demos, tips, and Base Notary.
3. Files and Base Notary
- We do not store, open, or inspect your uploaded files. When you use Base Notary, your file is never opened or inspected in any way. We only compute a SHA-256 hash from the raw file bytes, then discard the file.
- Only the hash and related transaction information may be recorded on Base when you use the record-hash feature.
- If you record a hash successfully, this browser may save the transaction link and fingerprint in local storage to help you verify later. That data stays on your device unless you clear it.
- Base Notary is an educational demo only. It is not legal proof and should not be relied on in court or for official purposes.
4. Wallet and payment information
- We do not custody your wallet or private keys. You connect your own wallet and approve transactions directly.
- x402 payments (USDC on Base) are processed on-chain. Wallet addresses, amounts, and transaction hashes are public on the blockchain and visible to anyone.
- We may log basic request metadata (such as timestamps, endpoint names, and response status) to operate and secure the service.
5. Cookies and browser storage
- We use a cookie to remember your light/dark theme preference.
- Base Notary may use local storage in your browser for saved proofs (transaction link and fingerprint only).
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
6. Third-party services
Your use of wallet providers, Base, Coinbase x402 infrastructure, RPC providers, and linked external sites is subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control how those services handle your data.
7. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date.
